Dr. Jordan Licata, MD

Dr. Jordan Licata grew up outside of Atlanta, GA and completed his pre-medical studies at Emory University with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. It was then he also developed a keen interest in advancing the field of medical research and spent several years pursuing anti-aging and longevity studies at the National Institute on Aging in Baltimore, MD. He obtained his medical degree and graduated with honors at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, OR.

During medical school training, Dr. Licata became interested in the field of Otolaryngology and published in several prominent journals while spending a year with the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. Dr. Licata finished his residency training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery & Facial Plastic Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Following residency, Dr. Licata narrowed his specialization toward facial plastics and completed a Facial Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship with Dr. Marvel in Nashville, TN.

Identifying with the community in Nashville and excited to work alongside his mentor, Dr. Licata is a welcome addition to the Marvel Cosmetic Team. His pursuit of obtaining patient fulfillment and desired outcomes combined with a high regard to academic excellence will allow Dr. Licata to thrive in our practice. Dr. Licata takes a holistic approach with every patient encounter, ensuring their aesthetic concerns coincide with an appropriate expectation of the outcomes. He understands that every patient experience is inherently unique and demands an insightful and creative mindset on the side of the cosmetic surgeon.

Dr. Licata specializes in all aspects of facial cosmetics, ranging from the aging face and rhinology to hair transplant and eyelid surgery. He adheres to a surgical standard of maintaining the proper aesthetic principles while enhancing one’s own natural beauty in the pursuit of patient fulfillment.
