What is Breast Augmentation?
Do you dream of larger, fuller breasts? A breast augmentation procedure in one of our four locations may be everything you’re hoping to achieve.
Breast enlargement surgery involves the use of breast implants to create fuller breasts. Breast enhancement surgery restores volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy. We provide both options in our Nashville, Nolensville, and Tullahoma location.
 If you are dissatisfied with your breast size, consider breast augmentation surgery (either breast enhancement or breast enlargement).
How is Breast Augmentation Performed?
One of our Board Certified Surgeons makes an incision under the breast. They will insert the breast implants you’ve chosen either underneath the pectoralis (the chest muscle) or just above the pectoralis (sub glandular).
We offer saline, silicone gel and gummy implants. All are safe and provide natural-looking results. You can discuss all of the options, including materials, size, and more, during your initial consultation.
Am I a Good Candidate?
Breast surgery may be a good option for you if meet the following qualifications:
  • Physically healthy
  • Realistic expectations
  • Breasts are fully developed
  • Feel your breasts are too small
  • Dissatisfied with your breasts losing shape and volume as a result of pregnancy, weight loss, or aging
  • Breasts are not symmetrical
  • One or both breasts failed to develop normally
However, the procedure does not correct severely drooping breasts.
If you want your breasts to look fuller or want them lifted due to sagging, you may want to consider a breast lift. This can often be done at the same time as your augmentation – but, it may require a separate surgery. One of our doctors will assist you in making this decision.
What Are The Typical Results?

Breast augmentation can increase the fullness and projection of your breasts; improve the balance of your figure; and enhance your self-image and self-confidence. Our patients throughout Middle Tennessee have been thrilled with their results. (Results may vary from patient to patient.)

Breast Augmentation Recovery

In the first 24 hours after your procedure, a patient’s activity should be restricted.  For the first two weeks, a patient must not get their bandages wet.  These will be removed at your two week visit with the doctor. Patients normally take six to eight weeks to fully recover from their breast augmentation procedure and must stay in a sports bra with no underwire the entire time.  There will be lifting restrictions while recovering as well.
