We offer post-surgical massages therapy to its patients undergoing cosmetic surgery aiming to increase patient’s care and positively influence the overall post-surgery recovery.  There are several benefits among them.

Maria is Marvel Cosmetic Surgery’s massage therapist, specializing in post-surgery massages. Dr. Marvel recognizes the importance of post-surgery massage and recommends patients who went on cosmetic surgery to have lymphatic massages to help the body heal faster.  Maria became a licensed massage therapist who provides our patients with post-surgery massage care. She is compassionate with the patients, making them feel better and heal faster.
 
Maria has over 20 years of experience working in the medical field.  After she graduated as a medical assistant in San Jose, California, she started training in hair transplantation surgery. Her exceptional skills and knowledge in all aspects of hair restoration surgery made her one of the leading surgical assistants for many hair transplant clinics across the nation. She is trained in both robotic and non-robotic hair restoration surgeries. Six years ago, she joined Marvel Cosmetic Surgery to continue working in hair restoration as well as massage therapy.
 
Maria graduated from C.C.O.C in San Jose, California, as  medical assistant in 1998.  She completed her training in Follicular Unit Hair Transplant in 1999 at the New Hair Institute in Palo Alto, California. In the year 2001, she completed her training in Multi-Follicular Unit Hair Transplants at the International Hair Institute in Vienna, Virginia. She continued with her education at the Graham Webb Academy of Hair in Washington, D.C., and graduated as a cosmetologist in 2003. She trained in Follicular Unit Extraction Surgery at the Rose Hair Transplant Institute in Tampa, Florida, in 2004. She continued with her education at the Nashville School of Massage Therapy and graduated as a massage therapist in April 2022.
 
Maria is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Board-Certified Cosmetologist.
